What are the return-request deadline and refund timeframe for defective goods?
After dispatch, a change-of-mind return is not accepted. Returns are limited to defects or discrepancies. A return request must be reported to the company no later than 24 hours after receipt of the goods, and acceptance is subject to the company’s approval. Goods may be sent back only after the company has provided the buyer with prior written return authorization; otherwise, the company bears no responsibility. This notification deadline is separate from the drip-tape warranty conditions.
Manufacturing defects that become apparent during use may be reported during the warranty period, even if the packaging has been opened and the product used. They are not excluded by the 24-hour rule for apparent issues.
The drip-tape warranty covers only seam opening during the first irrigation at the appropriate operating pressure, after inspection and confirmation by the company’s specialist. It is not a general full-growing-season warranty.
For a confirmed manufacturing-defect return, the buyer is responsible for loading the return shipment. The seller bears the other related costs, including inspection, return transport, unloading, replacement and re-dispatch as applicable. Initial loading at the seller’s factory remains the seller’s responsibility.
Refunds are settled by agreement between the parties, in the agreed currency and by the agreed method, within a maximum of 20 working days. For an approved return, the refund is processed after the goods have been received and inspected at the factory; the settlement agreement records the start of the refund period.
If tax relating to the order has actually been paid and debited from the company’s account, that amount is taken into account as a deduction in the refund settlement, subject to applicable tax rules. No hypothetical tax deduction is applied.
Initial freight, customs charges and banking or transfer fees are not ordinarily refundable. For a confirmed manufacturing defect, the seller’s specific cost obligations stated above remain applicable.
